We’re a beach-loving, family-run organisation based in South Devon, in the UK.

We set up Less Plastic in 2015 in response to the endless tide of ocean plastic washing up on our beautiful local beaches – to raise awareness of the issues caused by ocean plastic crisis and provide easy-to-action, ocean-friendly alternatives.

We offer inspiration, strategies, educational resources and in-person talks to enable individuals, businesses, schools and organisations of all sizes to use less plastic.

Our popular infographic designs have proven to be effective mechanisms to inspire behaviour change. Printed copies are available to order. For permission to use our designs for anything other than social media sharing, please contact us. We have also translated them into several languages.

We have a global following on social media but our local community is equally important to us. We run monthly beach cleans in collaboration with Surfers Against Sewage, and lead the Plastic Free Kingsbridge project to gain recognition for our community’s efforts to reduce single-use plastic.

We’re a tiny organisation with a BIG ambition to make single-use plastic a thing of the past. If you love what we do, and would like to help us continue our work, please consider supporting us with a small contribution, subscribing to our email list, or sharing our content to inspire your friends, family and colleagues to #UseLessPlastic too.

Let’s join together to turn the tide on ocean plastic #UseLessPlastic
