We’re an ocean-loving, family-run organisation based in South Devon, in the UK.
We set up Less Plastic in 2015 in response to the endless tide of plastic washing up on our local beaches – to raise awareness of the issues caused by ocean plastic and to provide easy-to-action steps to significantly reduce the amount of plastic in our lives.
Our talks and workshops apply proven behaviour change techniques to enable attendees to successfully cut plastic use in their professional roles and personal lives.
Our popular infographics have inspired change in communities around the world. Printed copies are available to order from our shop. For digital copies or international shipping, contact us. Also available in several languages.
We have a large global social following and have featured on national news programmes, but our local community is very important to us too. We run monthly beach cleans in collaboration with Surfers Against Sewage, and lead our local #PlasticFreeCommunities campaign to gain recognition for our town’s efforts to reduce single-use plastic.
We’re a small organisation with a big ambition to make single-use plastic a thing of the past. If you love what we do, please share our content to inspire your friends, family and colleagues to use less plastic too.
Let’s join together to turn the tide on ocean plastic #UseLessPlastic
